There were 60 of us in our freshman class. 86% of us graduated together.
Of the 59 sophomores, 88% of us graduated together.
85% of the 61 juniors graduated together..
92% of the 56 of us who started senior year together, graduated
together.
96.2% of us are still living. (At the time of the 1994 reunion.)
RESULTS
These
statistics were taken from the questionnaires returned before the
25-year reunion in July, 1994.
54 Invitations/Questionnaires
were sent out. 42 (77%) were returned.
24 Class
of '69ers attended the 25th reunion (44%). 46% attended the picnic.
23% of
us are involved in farm related careers (10).
14% own our own business (6).
9% are homemakers (4). 13.7% of the girls.
50% of
us attended college (21).
20% graduated college (11).
(52% who attended college, graduated from college.)
4% went beyond college.
4% served in the millitary (2).
We have
moved a total of 163 times. The average distance lived from CHS
is 150 miles.
46% of the guys admitted to hunting/fishing as their hobby (6 of
13).
20% of the girls do some form of needlework (6/ of 29).
19% listed reading as a favorite hobby (8).
23.8% enjoy gardening (10).
14% claim their kids are their hobby (6).
MARRIAGE
& CHILDREN
95% of
our class is married (40.)
We have been married a total of 712 years. (Seems like a lifetime,
doesn't it?)
The average number of years married is 18.73%
The minimum number of years married is 2. The maximum is 27 years.
April
was the most popular month for getting married (6) closely followed
by July, November, and December--each with 5.
1971 was the most popular year to marry (8), and 1972 was the second
most popular (7).
1982
was the most popular year for having children:

More of us had our first child in 1972 (5) and 1972 was the second
most popular year.
We have
a total of 93 children. Of those, 45 are boys and 48 are girls.
Seems the girls always outnumber the boys in our class one way or
another. 9 of those children are married, and there are 9 grandchildren.
(2 were on the way.)
December
and May were the most popular months for having children.
